Established in January 2021, New York City retired Special Educator, Ms. Janice V. Allamby is the Founder and CEO of JLN Enterprising. Ms. Allamby founded her solution-based organization to addresses the challenges that working adults with disabilities encounter when, seeking employment, getting paid a fair minimum wage and maintaining job security. Her clients have access to 18 career industries, train as apprentices, receive consultation services and are paid a bi-weekly stipend. After completing the apprentice program interns have the option to work in their chosen apprentice field or receive career training options and job placement services.
JLN Enterprising specializes in providing customized consulting solutions that are the bedrock of our organizations D-Y-N-A-M-I-C core values. Our clients have access to competitive employment opportunities and career training that is 21st century solutions driven. We innovate creative technologies to provide our interns with opportunities to develop and practice their soft skills while working in apprenticeship capacities. Interns are encouraged to take initiative and utilize their operational problem solving skills to perform tasks, and solve problems on a professional and personal level.
